Red Asian Ginseng Root Monograph and Therapeutic Compendium

The American Herbal Pharmacopoeia® (AHP) is now developing the AHP Monograph and Therapeutic Compendium for Red Asian Ginseng Root, a highly popular adaptogen and herbal dietary supplement ingredient.  In addition to establishing quality control standards for the raw material, there is confusion regarding the various species in trade and whether these are equal in efficacy.

Europharma Inc. has requested that the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia® (AHP) develop the Red Asian Ginseng Monograph to specifically highlight the benefits of this specific form and has thus generously sponsored the Red Asian Ginseng Root Monograph in full.

AHP monographs represent the most comprehensive and critically reviewed body of information on herbal medi-cines in the English language, and serve as a primary reference for academicians, health care providers, manufac-turers, and regulators. All AHP monographs are developed by acknowledged experts in the field of medicinal plants and include a diverse array of experts in botany, pharmacognosy, natural products chemistry and analysis, pharmacology, toxicology, and traditional herbal medicine.
