Monograph Prioritization

Home Monograph Prioritization

“Isolating an active constituent from a plant is an affront to nature. It is like taking the intelligence and leaving the wisdom behind.” – Deepak Chopra

Monograph Prioritization Committee

The monograph prioritization committee shall consist of a representative of the various sectors of stakeholders, namely: herbalists (a representative of the American Herbalists Guild), herbal supplement manufacturers (a representative of the American Herbal Products Association), naturopathic physicians (a representative of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians), and non-profit herbal educational organizations (a representative of the American Botanical Council) or other appropriate organizations.

Botanical Prioritization

The botanical to be monographed shall be prioritized according to its relative importance to the various stakeholder sectors as determined by the monograph prioritization committee.
